A birth in the Church to commemorate the Passion of Jesus.
The Founder Saint Paul of the Cross wrote on December 18, 1761 to Sr. Maria Angela Cencelli:
“Years ago, I had an image of beautiful Child painted on paper sleeping on the Cross …. Oh how I liked that symbol! …. At Christmas when you will have the Child in your heart, sleep with Him in the cradle of the Cross … ”
This is my Christmas gift together with the Program of the IV International Theological Congress on The Wisdom of the Cross in a plural world.
